Terms of Use

Terms of Use

2026 Company: RiRo Technologies Inc., doing business as Control Core.

Welcome to Control Core. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Control Core website (controlcore.io), platform, software, and associated services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Control Core is an Enterprise Authorization Management (EAM) platform and attribute-agnostic network control plane. The platform relies on a stateless, sub-5ms inline network execution proxy known as “The Bouncer”.

Control Core’s software is deployed strictly as a 100% Customer-Hosted, On-Premises, or Private Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) solution. We do not provide a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) data plane; all active runtime guardrails, payload inspections, and fine-grained access controls occur entirely within your private network boundary.

2. License Grant and Tiers

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Control Core grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Services within your infrastructure. Licensing is structured around the deployment of Bouncer nodes:

Kickstart: A free tier strictly limited to non-production, Shadow Mode sandbox testing with a single Bouncer node.

Unlimited: A paid tier allowing full Active Mode enforcement in production, billed at a flat annual fee per active production Bouncer node.

Enterprise: A custom-contract tier for multi-region scale and hybrid/cloud targets.

3. Data Collection, Privacy, and Telemetry

Control Core is designed for 100% Data Sovereignty; zero metadata, PII, or payload telemetry ever exits your private network boundary for processing by Control Core. The only data we collect from you is restricted to:

Account and Billing Information: Name, corporate email, role, primary contact information for technical support, and invoicing details necessary to service your account.

Authorized Telemetry (Production Bouncer Count): Subject to your explicit consent, we collect limited telemetry data specifically restricted to the count of active production Bouncer nodes for licensing and billing enforcement purposes.

We adhere strictly to data retention and protection practices compliant with Canadian (PIPEDA), US, and EU (GDPR) laws. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Infrastructure Security: Because Control Core is self-hosted, you are solely responsible for the security, configuration, and maintenance of the servers, VPCs, and networks where The Bouncer and the Control Plane are deployed.

Policy Configuration: You are responsible for the accuracy and consequences of the “Smart Permissions,” Rego policies, and compliance guardrails you deploy using our Services. Control Core provides the engine; you define the rules.

Acceptable Use: You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or use the Services to build a competitive product.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including but not limited to The Bouncer, the Smart Control Core Agent (SCCA), the visual intent mapper, and associated documentation, are the exclusive property of RiRo Technologies Inc. Your use of the Services does not grant you any ownership rights.

6. Disclaimers of Warranty

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE” BASIS. CONTROL CORE, ITS TEAM, AND ITS PARTNERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

While Control Core is designed to enforce Zero Trust principles and regulatory compliance, we do not warrant that the software is immune to all cyber threats, that it will prevent all data breaches, or that its operation will be entirely uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RIRO TECHNOLOGIES INC., ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CONTROL CORE FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Control Core, its officers, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your configuration and deployment of access policies resulting in data loss or system downtime; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights or applicable laws.

9. Term, Termination, and Survival

These Terms remain in effect until your subscription expires or is terminated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Services and destroy all local copies of the Control Core software within your infrastructure. Sections covering Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification shall survive termination.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
